Sportsmens Lodge a top social destination for gentlemen travelers who visit San Jose.
What was once a quiet boutique hotel in Barrio Amon has expanded, attracting a considerable following of ladies of negotiable affection.
While it’s not quite as busy as the nearby Hotel Del Rey the parties have been known to get out of hand with girls jumping onto the bar to dance.
The bar is filled with big screen televisions, the restaurant menu covers all the bases, and the waitresses are friendly. Hotel rooms are divided between three wings, and a standard room is on average $70 while larger rooms are up to $150 per night. Several are equipped with internal shared doors so it’s possible for a group to combine adjacent rooms and enjoy a own private party. The penthouse suite is advertised at $250 and comes complete with two Jacuzzi spas, 42 inch HD television, sound system, full kitchen, two bathrooms, and bar.
